Kelburn Recruitment are pleased to be working with a multi award winning dealership who are looking for a Trainee Customer Consultant to join their team.

Left Sixth-Form or University and looking your next challenge?

As a Trainee Customer Consultant, you will be part of a new initiative which fast tracks you through the 12-week programme, leading to a full industry-recognised accreditation and potentially into management.

You will be determining customer requirements and offer advice, guidance and product knowledge. It is, therefore, essential that you are comfortable interacting and quickly building rapport with existing and new customers.

  • Welcome and greet customers to ensure their experience is second to none.
  • Have the desire to learn about customers, products and new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills – listening is as important as talking.
  • Confidence – a personality that will welcome and engage customers.
  • Assist with showroom activities; be comfortable with the digital showroom, keep data up to date, manage phone calls and social media queries.
  • An eye for detail – capture information accurately, follow processes and deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Work with and assist other members of the team, including the Host to ensure all visitors to the showroom have an excellent experience and feel welcome.

Essential criteria

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • At least 2 A Levels or equivalent qualification
  • IT skills, (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • GCSE Maths and English.

You will earn as you learn, from Day 1 you will receive £18,000 annual salary.  Additionally, as soon as you graduate from the programme you are rewarded immediately with a competitive benefits package and performance related bonuses.

Shift Pattern

Monday – Friday 9am-6pm (with one late shift & one-week day off)

Saturday 9am – 5pm

Sunday 10.30am-4.30pm (on a rota basis)
