A long-established components manufacturer in the Newcastle area is seeking a Degree Qualified Design Engineer to join their expanding team offering a competitive salary generous holiday allowance and a great work balance. Remuneration package will reflect experience and role can be adapted top suit either a recently qualified Design Engineer or a Design Engineer with several years experience.
Reporting to the Senior Manager and as part of an overall team of 35, as a Design Engineer you will:

Help develop new and existing products to customer specifications

Assist in managing projects through full life cycle

Be involved in customer liaison

Liaise with production and oversee prototype build
We are looking for a Design Engineer with the following:
-
Degree level qualified
-
2 years experience in a relevant role
-
Have design experience using AutoCAD
-
Have experience in Mechanical and Electrical design

Be experienced in project Management
-
PCB / circuit design experience would be advantageous

Be self-motivated and have a great work ethic
You will be working 8.30 am – 4.30 pm, enjoy 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and participate in a good pension scheme.
