Kelburn are pleased to be working with a successful Engineering and Manufacturing business based in Tyne and Wear. Due to business demand, they are currently seeking to recruit an additional Welder /Fabricator to join their team on a temp to permanent basis.
The Role
The successful Candidate will be required to work with the existing team on a variety of high profile projects. Using up to the minute equipment, the Welder/Fabricator will read from engineering drawings and will be required to fabricate a variety of components in different materials including stainless and mild steel. At all times, the successful candidates are required to adhere to strict health and safety procedures and company housekeeping policies.
The Ideal Candidate Will
• Ideally be time served or hold a relevant Engineering qualification
• Experienced and capable of MIG and TIG welding
• Understand engineering drawings
• Ability to operate a CNC Press Brake
• Have good communication skills
• Be a team player
• Have the flexibility to work overtime as business demands
