Our Client is a global manufacturing business based in South Tyneside and would like to bring a new Forecaster into their business to work alongside the Supply Chain Manager. The successful Candidate will manage the process of forecasting to ensure up to date and relevant information is provided at all times. The Forecaster will be responsible for analysing trends, following current trends and recognising future trends. The post holder will be responsible for preparing and presenting detailed reports of market trends to assist with strategic production and marketing decisions. Other duties will include:
- Manage SAP forecasting system
- Error reporting
- Assist with implementation of new products
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Sales teams
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have experience of SAP/APO
- Be experienced in a similar role and have forecasting experience
- Use Excel to an advanced level and have good presentation skills
- Be numerate and have proven analytical skills
- Have Mini-tab/statistical knowledge
- Communicate with people at all levels
- Be flexible and adaptable
