Maintenance Fitter
This is dayshift role, Monday to Thursday – 0800 – 1700 / Friday 0800 – 1300
Salary: £9.50 per hour
An experienced Maintenance Fitter is required to join a leading manufacturer in the Washington Area
This is a mechanically-focused role, you will be tasked with carrying out preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance on a range of plant and machinery.
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded Maintenance fitter who is competent at welding, mechanical fitting and fabrication
Ideally you must hold a recognized engineering qualification and have previous experience in a similar role.
You will be part of the maintenance team operating and undertaking planned maintenance and inspections of a busy engineering plant.
Excellent timekeeping, a self-driven attitude and the flexibility to revert to shift working are also essential.
This is a temporary role of approx 3 months with a strong chance of it becoming a permanent role for the right candidate
