Moulding Technician

40 hrs per week (three shift rotating pattern)
Our client is a County Durham manufacturing business that is looking to recruit a Moulding Technician on a permanent basis to support growth. Reporting to senior management, the successful moulding technician is required to maintain the control of processes in injection moulding and provide support to the execution of production including tool changes, setups and start-ups for all product. The Role: * Reporting to Moulding Engineer, Plant Manager * Provide technical support to Tool Setters / Material Handlers * Plan tool changes in advance * Complete tool changes in line with production plan * Report any tooling issues / process issues to the Moulding Engineer as soon as possible
* Provide clear and concise reports during shift handover
The Person: * Previous moulding experience is essential * People management skills a definite advantage / deputize for moulding engineer * Able to work as part of a team but also using your own initiative * Used to working with an IT system * Ensure a good level of housekeeping is maintained
