Production Operative - North Tyneside

Kelburn Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading North East Company who are looking to expand their existing team and add a machine operative / production operative to their North Tyneside plant. This is an excellent opportunity to join an environmentally focussed company who export both nationally and worldwide and a pay rate of £10.00 per hour will be paid to the successful Machine / Production Operative.

The Machine/ Production Operative Role:

  • Responsible for operating bespoke machines
  • Responsible for material preparations
  • Adhere to full compliance with all health & safety aspects, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Ensure quality controls and standards are maintained.
  • Maintain strict production schedules.
  • Shift based hours, different shifts available

The Ideal Machine Operative / Production Operative:

  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing / production environment
  • Working as part of a small team and using your own initiative when required
  • Ideally hold a current and valid UK driving license
  • Forklift license is advantageous
  • Punctual with good time keeping skills.
  • Health and Safety focused.
