Our client are a leading global business who provide thermal management solutions to major electronic OEMs. Involved in designing, developing and manufacturing products for a variety of industries including telecommunication, medical and aerospace, a permanent job is now available for a Thermal Research Engineer to join their team in Northumberland on a permanent basis.
The Job:
• Responsible for managing R&D projects to develop next generation technologies for cooling electronic products
• Carry out thermal and mechanical design and CFD analysis for commercial applications.
• Liaise with team members across the board
• Ensure good housekeeping
• Adhere to Health and Safety requirements at all times
The Person:
• An understanding of heat transfer and CFD is essential
• A qualification in thermal engineering
• Analytical problem solving skills
• Exciting to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Team player who is innovative and enthusiastic
• Good team player able to lead people
