Kelburn Recruitment are please to be working with our client based in Newcastle Gateshead who are looking for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to support their busy team. They are looking for a confident and highly motivated individual who can out daily tasks within the office environment.

You will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment supporting internal teams by assisting with back office functions and dealing with customer orders in an efficient and accurate manner.

The Role

  • To Co-ordinate and execute customer orders, administrative and logistic tasks according to business guidelines to meet on time delivery.
  • Management of order processing activities within department to ensure correct handling, administration and documentation is in place.
  • Receipt of requests for quotations, stock and shelf life availability, new sales orders and amendments.
  • Use Excel to retrieve customer information, stock status information, and sales order status and to make changes to customer orders.
  • Input direct customer orders into Excel
  • Achieve and maintain customer report, communicate order status information, specific product information including availability, delivery plan.
  • Issue direct customer invoices in a timely manner.
  • Daily monitoring and coordination of orders to meet customer needs and to minimise the number of open orders for month end.
  • Deal quickly and efficiently with customer complaints by telephone or email. Assisting in the identification of the root causes.

The Essential skills;

  • Advanced Excel Experience
  • Order processing experience in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Have experience of providing first class customer service
  • Have previous experience in a similar role
