Due to an extremely busy order book, Kelburn Recruitment are currently recruiting for one of our prestigious clients based in Gateshead who are looking to add Warehouse Operatives to their existing team due to a substantial growth in orders.
The Warehouse Operative Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Warehouse Operatives with previous experience working within a fast-paced environment. The role would involve:
- Working on a fast-paced production line
- Picking and packing of items
- Visual quality inspection of products, ensuring no damaged goods go through
- Labelling and palletising of goods
- Manual Handling
- Recording data throughout the day
- Always maintain company’s health & safety standards
The Ideal Warehouse Operative Candidate
- Previous experience in a warehouse role beneficial but not essential
- A positive attitude and willing to learn
- Good work ethic, able to work part of a team as well as individually
- Able to hit targets as required
The Hours
- 5.00am – 13.00 Monday to Friday with additional overtime at an enhanced rate available
The Pay
- £9.50 per hour basic, overtime paid at £14.25 per hour.
