Due to an extremely busy order book, our client, who have a strong presence in the North East region are looking for a welder / fabricator to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. With flexible shifts available, the welder / fabricator role is an excellent opportunity to progress your career within the engineering industry. As a welder / fabricator, you will ideally have experience in the following areas:
- Fabricating and welding of mainly mild steel components, varying in sizes
- Interpreting Engineering drawings and plans
- Preparation of welds and the welding area
- Ensuring the work area is kept clean and all H&S requirements are strictly adhered to
The ideal welder / fabricator candidate will have:
- A completed apprenticeship in Welding & Fabrication would be an advantage
- Experience of MIG welding
- Experience of welding a variety of materials
- Ability to work to technical / engineering drawings

The Pay
As a welder / fabricator, you will receive between £11.24ph. A shift allowance payment is paid and overtime is also available at an enhanced rate.
