We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Electrical bias) with a salary of up to £46,000 on offer, together with an attractive range of benefits which includes annual paid leave of 25 days plus public holidays.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager (through the Maintenance Supervisors), the main purpose of the Maintenance Technician (electrical bias) role is to ensure that process, plant and buildings maintenance are carried out to the highest standard in pursuit of zero business interruption.
This is a permanent role based in the Newcastle area, working for a leading high volume manufacturing business. Working an alternating day / night 12 hour shift pattern and averaging 7 shifts every two weeks, the role sits within a maintenance team of 13 and the main requirements for the role are:
Criteria
Experience as a multi-skilled Electrical technician in a high volume-manufacturing environment
Qualifications
ONC / HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Skills
Ability to read and interrogate electrical drawings
PLC maintenance and fault finding.
Frequency drives, AC motor and process control systems.
Temperature control systems.
Hands-on mechanical ability.
Experience
Standard Operations.
Total Preventative and Pro-active Maintenance Systems.
