Assistant Management Accountant
Temporary Basis

Our client are a well established company based South of the Tyne. A high volume manufacturing organisation, they are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a temporary basis due to business demand.
The Assistant Management Accountant Position:
* Reporting to the Plant Controller * Provide daily KPI’s to the management department * Overhead review and variance analysis
* Cost Centre Reporting
* Forecast / planning of overhead spend in standard cost setting, annual budget setting and forecasts * Inventory Control
* Daily reconciliation of SAP postings and plant production schedule * Month end duties * Bank sheet reconciliations * Other ad hoc duties as required
The ideal Person:
* Will be part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
* Previous experience in a similar assistant management accountant role essential, preferably within a manufacturing/FMCG environment * Will ideally have knowledge of SAP software
* Will have strong analytical skills and the ability to present information * Excellent communication and IT skills * Flexible, determined, proactive and enthusiastic in approach * Team player who is able to work with people of all levels
