Our client is a leading automotive component manufacturer and part of a global organisation. They are currently recruiting for a Product Costing Engineer/Analyst to join the business in a permanent role at their site in Washington.
The Job:
· Creation of detailed product cost models and profitability analysis to support customer quotations
· Monitor product profitability through project development stage to end of product life
· Review and manage product intercompany transfer pricing
· Support cost reduction activities
The Person:
· Ideally degree qualified of equivalent
· Product costing experience, ideally within an electronics environment
· A good understanding of manufacturing processes and associated cost drivers
· High level of numeracy
· Team player with excellent communication and IT sills
· Flexibility to travel in line with business demands
