Sales Order Processor

Newcastle upon Tyne

Temporary to Permanent

£20k per annum

Due to business demand, our client who are a leading UK manufacturer are looking to add a Sales Order Processor to their existing team. Offered on a temporary to permanent basis, as a Sales Order Processor, you will handle a mix of telephone calls, emails, customer queries and order processing for our client based in the Newcastle upon Tyne area. Using a bespoke ordering system, you must be able to adapt to new systems and have a friendly yet professional attitude as a representative of our client.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 year’s previous experience in a similar customer service role with great communication skills, high attention to detail and good computer literacy.

Key Responsibilities for the Sales Order Processor role:

  • Daily communication with customers via email and telephone
  • Work within the Order Processing Team
  • Solve customer queries to a satisfactory standard
  • Maintain bespoke CRM system
  • Other ad hoc duties as business demands

Skills, Experience & Qualifications sought

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Preferable 2-3 years previous experience in a similar
  • Close attention to detail and good organisational skills.
  • Computer literate particularly Word, Excel & CRM Software.
  • Able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and take ownership of service quality issues.
