An opportunity has arisen for a Software Developer to join our Client, who is a leader in the supply and maintenance of specialist products and services to the Marine and Oil & Gas sectors. The successful postholder will work alongside a senior development team to develop new and existing products.
The Role- including but not limited to:
- Software Development (full lifecycle projects)
- Writing high quality code using the latest engineering tools and best practices
- Develop user interfaces using Object-Oriented Programming
- Test new products in controlled situations before going live
- Provide technical support
- Develop testing, installation and commissioning procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience of working in test driven development
- Be experience with web API development, ideally ASP>NET
- Have knowledge of REACT JavaScript libraries
- Be experienced in database development (MySQL, T-SQL) and OOP in C# or .NET programming
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and be a team player
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer focus
- Be flexible to travel within the UK and abroad
- Have a good attention to detail and be able to work to deadlines
